I know, the color is a bit too strong. But it's like that already! as is! Reminds me of the 80's. And somehow also reminds me of Adam Lambert's song - If I Had You :D

There's an Indonesian saying that "if it's your portion - you'll get it one way or the other". So last year we went to Osaka - scheduled so that we are there in time for some summer festival. There should be a big fireworks towards the end - just in time before our flight back. But then the unexpected happened. We got jammed in the sea of people. Literally cannot move. So we can only HEAR the fireworks, but can't see AT ALL. So we basically missed the whole show. Not a single firework picture was produced.
But then... when it's yours; one way or the other you'll get it. I happened to rent a 7D for a camera try out - happened to be in Clarke Quay cause I know there's a mid autumn festival and NOT KNOWING at all there will be fireworks. I just HAPPENED to stand near the edge - best position to see the fireworks. HAPPENED to hold the best cropped body camera for low light. And voila.... After 1 year of waiting, I finally got my firework picture - when least expected :)
And yes, the pictures are not as amazing as it can be (no time to take out the tripod, aperture setting was off, etc). But then again, couple of decent result still gained.
Big life lesson :) If it's truly yours - you'll eventually get it... one way or the other :)
