Hari Raya Aidilfitri (20 September this year) marks the end of
Ramadan. The month-long fast over, local Muslims don colourful traditional clothes and go house-visiting, loin in the party at Kampong Glam and Geylang Serai, which will
be dressed up for weeks with festive lights and decorations, and bazaars selling traditional food, handicrafts and clothes. |
