COMEX 2012

Singapore's Buggest IT & Consumer Technology Exhibition

When: 1 to 4 September 2012 (12 to 9pm daily)
Where: Suntec Singapore - Levels 1, 2, 3, 4 & 6
Admission: Free
Expected: over 700,000 (estimated)
Organized by: Exhibits Inc Pte. Ltd (A subsidiary of SPH)
Website: www.comexshow.com.sg

A bigger Comex 2012 awaits visitors with its spread of powerful and fantastic electronic gadgets and IT products, ranging from desktop computers, laptops, digital cameras to the latest touchscreen and LED displays.

Gamers should check out the new Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game consoles, which offer the same gameplay functions but in a smaller and more updated packaging than their predecessors.

Such gadgets and thousands more will be available at this week's Comex show, which is taking place at the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Comex 2012 Expected Turnout

A bigger show is expected this year to top last year's crowd of 710,000 visitors and sales of $63 million. For this year, the organisers are expecting some 800,000 visitors to spend $67 million on the goodies on offer.

If you are looking for mobile computing, from laptops, netbooks, tablet PCs to smartphones, Comex is the place to go.

Compared to Comex 2010, there is a 20 per cent increase in the number of vendors offering deals on mobile devices, says Melvin Koh, general manager of Eastern Directories, the company behind Comex 2011.

Featuring 345,000 sq ft of exhibition space - the same as last year - this year's show will have 830 vendors, 10 more than last year.

Comex 2012 Enhancements

To improve crowd control, the organiser has put floor plans and the exhibitor list up on its website (www.comexshow.com.sg), allowing visitors to plan ahead of their visit and beat the expected rush of attendees, especially over the weekend.

Comex 2012 Guide

It can be tough to navigate your way across five floors filled with booths, so here is a guide on what to look out for when you head down to Comex 2011.

Comex 2012 Floor Plan

Comex 2012 floors plans will be published as soon as they are ready.

Comex 2012 Promotions

And do not forget to participate in the lucky draw, where every $100 spent grants visitors a chance to win the grand prize of $20,000 in cash.
