Festival highlights include food carnivals, food trails, ethnic heritage activities and culinary classes that will guarantee you a taste of all the good stuff- authentic chilli crab, chicken rice, satay, rod pinta, laksa, char kway teow and much, much more.
Look out for irresistible dining offers during the festival. For more information on local dishes, pick up a copy of the 'Best of Singapore's Food' brochure at any Singapore Visitors Centre.

Singapore Biennale 2013
The fourth edition of Singapore’s premier contemporary art exhibition, Singapore Biennale 2013 (SB 2013), will return in 2013! Titled “If The World Changed”, it will take place from 26 October 2013 to 16 February 2014.
About Singapore Biennale 2013
The rich cultures and geographies of the Southeast Asian region have historically been the corridor of the world's major civilisations. The ebb and flow of these complex cultural interactions have yielded responses of accommodation and resistance, leaving legacies of layering and sedimentation within the varied communities.
In the 21st century, the speed of transformation in Southeast Asia is perhaps beyond anything experienced by preceding generations. This change is prompting multiple conceptions and perceptions of time and our worlds, both the external and internal.
Against this backdrop of past and continuous change, artists have been reflecting, mediating, envisioning, and making propositions. If The World Changed, the title of the 4th Singapore Biennale, is an invitation to artists to respond to and reconsider the worlds we live in, and the worlds we want to live in.
If the world changed, what are our propositions and possibilities?
Singapore Biennale 2012 Opening Hours
10am – 7pm daily
Admission (one-time entry to all venues)
Adult: $10
Student and senior citizens 60 years and above: $5

Where: Singapore Expo Halls 4 & 5 (View floor plan)
Admission: $4.00 (adults), children below 12 (free)
Expected: 65,000 (estimated)
Organized by: National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS)
Email: events@natas.travel
Website: www.natastravelfair.travel
The most sort after Travel Fair in Singapore.
Bargain hunters will have fewer travel fairs to suss out holiday deals this year. The National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS) is doing away two additional fairs, NATAS journeys Summer and Winter, that it launched last year.
Held in May and October, they were organized in top of the usual bi-annual NATAS travel fairs in February and August to cater the last-minute bookings for the mid year and end-of-year school holidays. more...
But consumers can take heart because fewer fairs is not necessarily a bad thing. That is because the travel packages offered at NATAS journeys were slightly more expensive than those at the Natas Travel Fairs.
The reason: What was offered at Natas Journeys were leftover packages from the earlier Natas Travel Fairs. Because bookings were made so close to the departure dates, prices were naturally higher.
This year's Natas Travel Fair will be held from February 25-27 at Singapore Expo's Hall 4 and 5. The focus will be on South America as travel agents take advantage of Singapore Airlines' new trice-weekly direct flights to Sao Paulo Brazil, which start next month. Visitors can also look forward to the usual discounts offered at Natas Travel Fairs, such as one-for-one travel deals.
Natas chief executive Robert Khoo says many agencies had complained that having two extra travel fairs within a year stretched their budgets and strained manpower resources, A poll of eight travel agencies by Life! confirmed this.
CTC Travel spokesman Alicia Seah says her travel agency budgets about $500,000 for each of the usual bi-annual Natas fairs. Last year, the agency had cough up and additional $125,000 for each of the two Natas Journeys events. She says: "If you don't join the fairs, you are afraid that you might miss out on consumer demand."
Mr. Khoo says a group made up mainly of the industry's major players came together to ask that Natas revert to holding just two fairs a year. Natas agreed, on condition that the agencies do not participate in non-Natas Travel fairs. They can however, organize thier own roadshows.
Mr. Khoo admits that the "in-between fairs" did not serve any other objective aside from selling off tours seats left over from the bigger Natas fairs.
However, travel bargain hunters such as Mr. Daniel Lee, a manager at an electricity generation company, says the extra Natas Journeys fairs were good for those unable to confirm their annual leave in advance. The 34-year-old booked a holiday to Egypt at the Natas Journeys Fair last October.
In spite of having to pay a slightly higher price, he says: "I know that the tour is confirmed and will definitely run since these were leftover unsold seats."
In the meantime, consumers who still want more options can look out for fairs organized by individual travel agents this week. SA tours is holding its Sensational Mega Travel Sale 2011 on Saturday and Sunday at Suntec Entertainment Centre Atrium, and Chain Brothers Travel Fair will be on Sunday at Suntec Singapore Level 3 Concourse. UOB Travel's on going Spring to Summer Holidays Sale at nex@Serangoon Central will end on Sunday.
Chan Brothers marketing communications manager Jane Chang says organizing its own fairs has helped the company to be more cost effective and keep travel package prices low for travellers.

A bigger Comex 2012 awaits visitors with its spread of powerful and fantastic electronic gadgets and IT products, ranging from desktop computers, laptops, digital cameras to the latest touchscreen and LED displays.
Gamers should check out the new Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game consoles, which offer the same gameplay functions but in a smaller and more updated packaging than their predecessors.
Such gadgets and thousands more will be available at this week's Comex show, which is taking place at the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Comex 2012 Expected Turnout
A bigger show is expected this year to top last year's crowd of 710,000 visitors and sales of $63 million. For this year, the organisers are expecting some 800,000 visitors to spend $67 million on the goodies on offer.
If you are looking for mobile computing, from laptops, netbooks, tablet PCs to smartphones, Comex is the place to go.
Compared to Comex 2010, there is a 20 per cent increase in the number of vendors offering deals on mobile devices, says Melvin Koh, general manager of Eastern Directories, the company behind Comex 2011.
Featuring 345,000 sq ft of exhibition space - the same as last year - this year's show will have 830 vendors, 10 more than last year.
Comex 2012 Enhancements
To improve crowd control, the organiser has put floor plans and the exhibitor list up on its website (www.comexshow.com.sg), allowing visitors to plan ahead of their visit and beat the expected rush of attendees, especially over the weekend.
