Singapore Bus Services
With a comprehensive island-wide network, Singapore's bus services allow you to travel to all corners of the island and experience at first hand, Singapore's vibrant street life. The public bus services are run by town main operators, SBS Transit and SMRT Buses, and they are
generally available from 5.30am to 12 midnight daily. Buses travel to almost every part of the island and fares start from 90 cents. Be sure to have the exact fare when paying by cash as bus drivers cannot give change. For information on bus routes and related enquiries, call the Transit Link

Special Bus Transport Services
Nite Owl Service
The Nite Owl services are premium one-directional bus services from the city to selected housing estates and they ply along the route between midnight till 4.00am. The Nite Owl services operate every Friday, Saturday and on the eves of public holidays and charge a flat rate of S$2.50 for ez-link card payment and S$3.00 for cash payment. Concessionary travel and transfer rebates are not applicable.
NightRider Service
SMRT NightRider services are introduced as a premium service to provide an alternative transport option for those who are out late. The service operate on Fridays, Saturdays and eves of Public Holidays from 11.30pm to 4.30am. They charge a flat fare of S$3.00 for both ez-link and cash payment. Passengers who pay by ez-link card will enjoy one free transfer to another NightRider service within 45 minutes upon alighting. Concessionary travel and transfer rebates are not applicable on NightRider services
SMRT Link services
SMRT Link, the first regular free shuttle service by a public transport operator, makes it more convenient and cheaper for you to travel to Chinatown, Dhoby Ghaut and Little India. Shoppers travelling on the East-West and North-South MRT lines can hop on board the free SMRT Link service for free direct connection to major shopping belts within the three areas.
SMRT Link features three routes: from Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station to Chinatown or Little India, and a third route from Outram Park MRT station to Chinatown. The shuttle buses run every 8 to 15 minutes between 11.00am and 10.00pm on weekends and Public Holidays.
