Standing at 165 metres, the Singapore Flyer is a new waterfront attraction that sites among a hotbed of upcoming exciting developments in Marina Bay. Unobstructed in all directions, from sunrise until sunset, visitors will be able to take in different perspectives of the dynamic Singapore landscape and even parts of Malaysia and Indonesia at every turn of the wheel.

Sitting astride a three-storey building, the Singapore Flyer comes with an exciting array of retail, entertainment and food-and-beverage choices, an Asian tropical rainforest, an open-air theatre for live performances and even a 210 metre long waterfront dining promenade.

    The Singapore Flyer is a giant Ferris wheel located in Singapore, constructed in 2005–2008. Described by its operators as an observation wheel, it is 42 stories high, with a total height of 165 meters (541 feet), making it the tallest Ferris wheel in the world, 5 meters (16 feet) taller than the Star of Nanchang and 30 meters (98 feet) taller than the London Eye.

    Situated on the southeast tip of the Marina Centre reclaimed land, it comprises a 150-meter (492 feet) diameter wheel, built over a three-story terminal building which houses shops, bars and restaurants, and offers broad views of the city centre and beyond to about 45 kilometers (28 miles), including the Indonesian islands of Batam and Bintan, as well as Johor, Malaysia.

    The Flower Dome is 38 metres (125 ft) high and maintains a temperature between 23°C and 25°C, slightly lower at night.

    The Flower Dome features 7 different "gardens" as well as an olive grove with a bistro and a central changing display field has also been incorporated to enable flower shows and displays to be held within the conservatory.
